Types of model photography Can't Post

One of the problems with model photography, is classification, and names.

The range of what people do (both photographers and models) is extremely broad, and often defies classification.

Two people will argue or fight over something that simply depends on their point of view, and direction they are looking.

Looking at a portfolio can give you a good idea of what a photographer (as artist) is doing, and the same for a model (to some degree). The models are subject to the photographer, so the model may still be searching for themselves. that's not to say the photographer is not changing or seeking something, but it is to say they have more control over the process.

The other issue is the digital camera has made it so that anyone can take a lot of pictures, without thinking about the process, since it doesn't cost anything. Taking 200 pictures of your face on digital costs less than taking one photo on film.

Finger engaged. Eye and brain disengaged.
